Yay!! I received another award...this time from Jassi over at Adventures in Weight-Loss Land. Her blog is wonderfully written & a super cute design, so you should def go check it out if you haven't yet!! Thanks Jassi!!

So...here we go!!

Seven Things About Myself - Hard because I'm not really sure what's left to tell:
1) So far, I have discovered that living by myself is wonderful. I finally have the freedom to do what I want, and based on the circumstances I was dealing with, what I NEED to do for myself. It's a much needed change that I am very appreciative and happy about.
2) I am terrified for my future. I know it'll be great & wonderful, but it's so scary to think I'm finally rounding that corner to being a full-on adult. Even though I'm an adult now, I still feel like a child at times. But with this recent promotion, I've come to realize JUST how real my life is becoming. Not to mention the moving into my first big girl apartment!! Very very scary
3) I have a dress obsession. I cannot stop buying new dresses or just admiring ones I want. I usually buy at least one new dress a month...and I'll wear them all year. I'll just make them more wintery with leggings and a longer jacket, depending on the dress. But I am obsessed...to the point that when I do put pants on, people think it's weird because I wear them so little these days.
4) I think my addiction to Glee has gotten worse. Haha--I know this sounds crazy & HOW MUCH WORSE COULD IT GET?? But...it just keeps getting better & better. I seriously would be lost without that show. I'm not really sure how I got by for so long without it. When I tell you I am up there with the biggest Gleeks you have EVER met, I am completely 100% serious.
5) I have started dating again!! I was seeing someone for awhile and it just didn't work out & we never really fully committed to each other anyways...but now, I've been going out on dates with guys, hanging out with them at my place or their places...just enjoying the dating world again. However, I am at the age & mindset where I think I am ready for another relationship...so bring it on!! Keep your fingers crossed that I find the right guy this time!!
6) I am beyond ready for football season. I am just waiting for September 3rd...where I can put on my favorite red tailgate dress, throw on a Wolfpack tattoo for my face, and go cheer on my beloved NC STATE WOLFPACK!!
7) Speaking of football, I have still not decided how I feel about the Panthers drafting Cam Newton. I know we REALLY need him, but the controversies surrounding him are just...yeah. I don't know how I feel. I'll let you know if I ever make a decision.

Haha...I know that wasn't really stuff about me as much as it was random thoughts!!

2) State ten things you like

•  In honor of the season starting today, number 1 will be COLLEGE FOOTBALL!! LET'S GO WOLFPACK--first game Saturday & I can't WAIT to see the season start up again!! (And for that matter, I LOVE the NFL too--PANTHERS ALL THE WAY!! HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!)
• GLEE--this will be on every list that for any award I ever recieve. I cannot express enough my obsession with this show & the music from it. I mean...NOTHING cheers me up as quick as Glee does & I've learned that it's motivation while working out is unbelieveable
• Fashion & Shopping--hence my major (fashion/textile management). I am a fashion whore & can't get enough of it. Of course, since I've gotten a little bigger, it's not as easy to find the clothes I used to love wearing--but I still manage with finding cute stuff :-)
• Halloween--this is easily my favorite holiday. I love getting all dressed up & going out with friends for a great night on the town. And, of course, as a kid, I always loved her Halloween traditions--and we had a lot of them. Roasting pumpkin seeds, pizza party with the neighbors, then out trick or treating with the dads. Some good memories! And since I've already started figuring out this years costume--you know I'm excited!!
• College Basketball--I know it's a few months away, but I really have been addicted to it since middle school or so. I just get such a thrill out of it--and this year, with us being so high up in the recruiting rankings, it's gonna be such a great year to watch!! Hopefully we pull through and pick up some pick wins!!
• If you couldn't tell, I LOVE my WOLFPACK!! I have a ton of school spirit & get so excited when it comes to the team! I get all dressed up in my red & white EVERYTIME they play regardless if I'm there or not. I can and will cheer them on whether I'm at work, the game, running errands, the gym--you name it, they still have my support!!
• Award Shows--this is a recent love of mine. I've realized in the past year how much fun I have guessing who's gonna win the award, so I gotta say I really enjoy that!!
• BOOTS--I apparently have a sick boot addiction. Working at a shoe store, I've learned how bad it really is. I already loved my boots--but now that I'm around them 24/7, it's gone to a whole other level. So, if any of you buy any cute boots--be sure to post them!!
• Grooveshark--if you've never been to this site, you should definitely check it out!! I use it on a daily basis...since I don't have every new song on my iTunes, this is a quick way to listen to it whenever I want before I get it on my iTouch. Plus, you can make some extended playlists (one of mine, I keep adding onto and it's just getting super long now)
• Dresses--I know I mentioned that I love shopping & fashion, but I'm gonna be even more specific and say that dresses are my obsession. I love dresses. I look for them everyday online when I have some downtime, just to see what's out there. And I wear one almost everyday. They are just so comfortable & I never have to worry about not looking cute when I'm in one!!

1) Thank you, Kelly!! I really appreciate this :-) I love knowing that people are actually reading this because it makes me feel like I CAN do this!! Kelly's blog is: Life in the Fat Lane for all of those who haven't read it.

2) Seven things about myself:

• I am about to start my 5th year (or victory lap, as I like to think of it) at NC State in Raleigh, NC
• One of my favorite places in the world is Myrtle Beach, SC and I go every year with family & friends
• GLEE and MILEY CYRUS are my obsession (if you didn't hear about that in my previous post from the weekend...just figured I should state it again)
• I LOVE horror movies!! There's just something about scaring myself that I really enjoy for some weird reason.
• I work at Aerosoles and absolutely love it. My co-workers are so much fun to be around & I love the shoes we sell!!
• My biggest fear is snakes. I have a full on phobia about them & they freak me out just seeing pictures or hearing about them.
• Phantom of the Opera is my favorite movie--but I LOVE musicals in general. They cheer me up when I'm down!!
