Tasty Bite Madras Lentils

So, I said I was going to talk about the lentils I bought...so I figured that was a good post today since my mind is still pretty distracted by school to think of anything else to post.

So, they are Tasty Bite Madras Lentils--and they are AMAZING!! They were handing them out as samples at Costco and as soon as I tried it, I walked right up to the box to buy it. I couldn't resist!! They were delicious and perfect for a quick lunch or dinner. Only 150 120 calories in 1/2 a pack and the fat & protein content are pretty good too!
I actually accidentally left mine at the beach in my parents car, but I'm definitely going to have to go out and buy a new one!! You can buy a 4-pack at Costco, but I bet you can find it at other places too. I haven't looked yet, but let me know if you know somewhere else you can buy it.

Now it's off to another day of classes, then I have to go see a mechanic because my car was overheating last night. I have to say...most exciting part about yesterday was it felt like I did fit the chairs a little better. I've always fit into them, that's never been a problem...but I just didn't feel AS weird in them this time, I suppose.

Hope everyone has a good day!!

xoxo

So what exactly are lentils & how do you eat them? lol! I watched this show the other day about losing weight, and they did this challenge where they had to pick from a list of different things about questions, like what's the best source of protein yadda yadda, lentils was one of the items and the guy had no clue what they were, yea, I'm right there with him. I had never heard of them till that day & now your post! So, how do you eat them? :P

Hmm.... sounds interesting. I like experimenting with different kinds of beans too - white, red, canellini, etc. I'll be on the lookout for these.
