Sore Since Monday

Alright guys...so I did this pilates workout on Monday and it's now Thursday, and I'm STILL feeling it in my abs.

I'm not going to lie...this has me a little worried. I mean...have any of you ever had a sore muscle for this long?? How do I relieve it a little?? It hasn't detered me from working out this week, but it has stopped me from doing more pilates or ab workouts. I've been jogging/walking the treadmill & lifting weights and skipping over my aerobics.

Any advice on this?? It just seems weird that my muscles would be sore 3 days later...

3 Days seems like a long time, maybe pop some advil and see how ya feel tomorrow?? Hopefully not as sore! :)

Pilates always makes me sore for DAYS!! Maybe that's why I don't do it often!

I think its normal. Just make sure you do a lot of stretching. :) good luck!

When I first started doing my kettleball workout, I found back muscles in places I never knew I had. I was definitely sore 3 days later, but a little less each day. If that pilates routine is working some abdominal muscles that typically don't get much use, then I'd say it's probably normal. And isn't pilates known for that? Getting to all those muscles?

Oh yeah, I've been there. Epecially after working out with my trainer. There have been weeks where I thought I would never feel good again. But I got through it!!!
