April Foodie Penpals Reveal

This is my third month in the Foodie Penpals program & it just gets better every month!! This month, my package came from Michelle at blogitness. Her blog is such a wonderful read, and if you haven't checked it out already, you definitely should!! Michelle instantly became one of my favorite people when in her foodie letter she offered to review some things for me in order to help me find a job out of college. Such a wonderful wonderful offer & I can't thank her enough!!

I sent my package over to Frieda at Purple Oven Mitt, so head on over there if you'd like to see what I sent this month :-)

And now for the reveal...
Look at all these goodies!! She sent me a lot of quick & easy treats for these last few weeks of school...and they have DEFINITELY come in handy!! Check out the individual reviews below!
She sent me two of these & they have been wonderful! I grab them when I need something extra with a lunch or breakfast smoothie. I definitely think I may have to buy some of these now...

Okay...this was soo good & perfectly easy to just grab and eat that I already went out to Trader Joe's and got a few boxes of them. I tried a few of the other flavors as well & all are super delicious!
I somehow managed to keep this away from the boyfriend & am so happy I did. YUM YUM YUM!!
I've always been a huge fan of Crystal Light. I'm saving this one for my most major study session coming up this week...but I am sure it'll be perfect :-)
Such an interesting, but AMAZING flavor combination!! I'm so glad Michelle sent me so much stuff from Trader Joe's since I regularly shop there too. I now have a few more new items on my list every visit.
This is actually my favorite flavor of this tea. Always has been. That's just a really weird coincidence but I was sooo happy to get a box of it. Especially with stressful finals since this will help to calm down & relax.
I haven't tried this yet, but I've been looking for a good protein powder for awhile...so my fingers are crossed that this is a winner!! It's vanilla - so that's an excellent sign!
Another chocolate egg!! This time from Sarris, which is right by Michelle. Again...YUM YUM YUM!! Hehe
These were so perfect for a quick dinner one night. They were delicious, but simple to make...and I had some leftover for lunch the next day!! Yay!!
Michelle told me that this was her favorite -- and I can see why!! It as really good!! My boyfriend had a spoonful & enjoyed it as well...so I think it's something we'll definitely be working into our pantry!
Thank you again, Michelle!!

And if you wanna be a Foodie Penpal too, here's whatcha gotta do...
-On the 5th of the month, you will receive your penpal pairing via email. It will be your responsibility to contact your penpal and get their mailing address and any other information you might need like allergies or dietary restrictions.
-You will have until the 15th of the month to put your box of goodies in the mail. On the last day of the month, you will post about the goodies you received from your penpal!
-The boxes are to be filled with fun foodie things, local food items or even homemade treatsThe spending limit is $15The box must also include something written. This can be anything from a note explaining what’s in the box, to a fun recipe…use your imagination!
-You are responsible for figuring out the best way to ship your items depending on their size and how fragile they are. (Don’t forget about flat rate boxes!)
-Foodie Penpals is open to blog readers as well as bloggers. If you’re a reader and you get paired with a blogger, you can choose to write a short guest post for your penpal to post on their blog about what you received. If two readers are paired together, neither needs to worry about writing a post for that month.
- Foodie Penpals is open to US, Canadian residents & UK residents.  Please note, Canadian Residents will be paired with other Canadians only. We’ve determined things might get too slow and backed up if we’re trying to send foods through customs across the border from US to Canada and vice versa. So, I’m going to keep two separate lists and match US w/ US and Canada w/ Canada!
***If you’re in Europe, please contact Carol Anne from This Is Rock Salt at rocksalt@thisisrocksalt.com to get involved!
If you live in Asia or Australia and want to get involved, email me and I’ll see if we get enough interest.

To participate, just click here and fill out the participation form. It must be completed by May 4th to participate this month. If you don’t get a confirmation from me within 48 hours, send me an email!
