I love swimming because it's such a great EASY workout... it does wonders for my joints and muscles. And I agree with Rae, if you eating complex carbs with protein that's what helps fill you up, and I still like eating about every three hours to help control the hunger and try and keep up my metabolism. Some of that burn is probably just the initial effect of getting moving. I know it sucks. Definitely wouldn't work out if working out makes it realllly bad, but working out through a little pain can be good for your muscles. Eating fruit alone often leaves me feeling hungry soon after.
